God’s Work, Our Hands.

How can we possibly thank you all enough?  There are no words to say that can truly express our gratitude towards each and every one of you who love and support us and our mission to help these children.  We found ourselves in a desperate situation once again in need for food and our prayers had been answered!! Going day to day experiencing uncertainty to what the next day may entail is difficult.  Seeing desperation and starvation all around us throughout the village on a daily basis is unbearable.  Having to tell the many many people who come to our doors daily in need of help that we can’t (always) help them is shattering.  We find hope and joy through the generous people who give their hearts to us through prayer, donation and sponsorship.  This is honestly what keeps us going and the most powerful gift of all ~ HOPE.  Our hearts are forever grateful.

We are also so happy to tell you that Tonny and Mpala have healed well from their Malaria!!  And also that the pigs have been able to return to the orphanage as they had been housed at the home in which our Rebecca and Cathy both reside.  So many thank yous to Katarina for funding the pen for the pigs.  Our hopes with our animals is to one day use the sale of offspring/eggs to benefit the needs of the children.  This would be of great accomplishment for us!!  Thank you so much for those of you who also help us in caring for and housing our animals as well!!

We are currently in need of funds (roughly $75.00) for firewood and delivery as it will soon be holiday’s for the children in school and this is our source for cooking food for the children.  If you can help with this it would be essential to us maintaining meals for the children and be more than appreciated!!

“Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked,” Psalm 82:3,4.||  This is our prayer.  Our war cry.  We raise our HALLELUJAHS as we have been given the opportunity to work with the weak and fatherless … the afflicted and the destitute … the weak and the needy … delivering them all from the hands of the wicked.  This is not about me.  And it’s not about you.  It’s not about which latitude or longitude that you were born on.  It’s about basic human rights.  It’s about looking outside of ourselves and walking with our hands wide opened instead of tight fisted.  It’s about breaking down the walls of denominations and coming together to build the Kingdom of God.  Wake up church.  God wants to use you. KNOW GOD.  KNOW TRUTH.
