ORPHAN PICKED FROM STREET CALLS FOR SUPPORT

7-year-old Gift Pius Kivumbi, a born of Masaka district in Uganda was raised by his single mother but did not have a chance to share a father’s love who died when he was still an infant. Unfortunately his mother also passed away in May, 2017 turning him into a total orphan.

Gift has passed through thick and thin, through dark nights and days ever since he was picked by a Police officer who was on Patrol at about 11:30pm in Lugazi town in Buikwe district of Uganda three weeks ago.

Gift narrates that his brother, he only Identified as Jordan, brought him to Lugazi from Masaka and left him in the town promising to come back and pick him up, Gift waited in anticipation but in vain.

The cold breeze was blowing and piercing through his flesh as he wondered around Lugazi for shelter.

After being picked by a Police officer, he was taken to Lugazi Police station where he has been sleeping for the last three weeks as Police continues to lookout for his relatives.

Gift narrates that in regards to meals, he has been feeding on posho and beans provided to him by Police officers.

Clad in a dirty black faded t-shirt, maroon torn shorts and in torn dirty old fashioned canvas shoes, there is a lot of misery flashed upon Gift’s face and keeps wondering whether he would ever find his brother.

Gift is being kept at Lugazi Police Station and it is where one of the directors of Hope for Orphans Organisation-Luuka found him and got his story.

Here at Hope for Orphans Organization, we are in discussions with Police to take him up as one of our beneficiary so that we look out for good Samaritans to sponsor his Education, Clothing and Medication since he also has a fungal infection in his head.

Good Samaritans can kindly come to Gift’s rescue so that he lives a better life in the community.

Since Gift is a total orphan, if there is an opportunity for adoption, he can be adopted at his early age.

Gift is anxiously waiting for a Good Samaritan to fund his Education, Clothing and Medication among others. Please Donate Now https://hopefororphansorg.com/shop/education/
