Often, people are heard to utter: “God moves in mysterious ways”. Superficially this is true, but its essentially a simplification of a truth long ago divined by the Apostles, that God’s ultimate will and power is beyond our understanding. What we are able to know, or to grasp, is his creation here on Earth, in its endless forms most beautiful. Often our worries are about what God may have in store for us, so we become anxious over things beyond our control, causing us to forget that as our loving creator, God wishes for us to also simply enjoy our being. Worship takes many forms, among them may be counted the simple pleasure of appreciating our natural world. Rather than worry about God’s plans beyond ones comprehension, we may instead focus on serving him within the immediate moment, here, in enjoying the world he has made for us.

How blessed we are to not only provide these children with food and shelter but also with an entire community far and wide who love and support them as well. We want to send our warmest thank yous to the sponsor families of Sharita, Mpala, Babiyre and Nakato as they sent funds to provide another birthday celebration for everyone to enjoy. And also many thank yous to those who have volunteered and/or helped with various needs throughout every day life. Sometimes these things seem small and do not receive the proper recognition but we want everyone to know that every single day we are grateful for your unconditional love and support!
Happy Birthday to Sharita, Tonny, Babirye, Mpala and Nakato ~ may you be blessed with many many healthy and happy years!!
Nakato and Babirye are now full time at HOOL!! It is in our greatest wishes and prayers to one day see these beautiful girls recover from so much sadness and trauma and find themselves happy and healed. We believe we are on the right path with them as we watch them be embraced so lovingly by their sponsor family.

Nakato begins to find more comfort in expressing herself, what a perfect way to end the celebrations.
CHICKS HAVE ARRIVED!!!
Can you believe it?! Our chicken project is well on it’s way to becoming a reality right before our eyes. Our long time friend and supporter Edward has made it his mission to see this dream through for us, that one day HOOL may become self reliant just from chicken/egg profits and also that the children will benefit from the nutritional value of the eggs. From the very start (chicken coop construction) this has been a long awaited journey that requires much patience and time. And with the arrival of these chicks there has been need for constant care and lack of rest (all for a good cause!). Thank you so much Edward for your continued faith in HOOL and your many blessings of love and support, we look forward to having you hear with us once again!!
Gates have been installed and the safety perimeter complete, we are now able to say with confidence that our children are safe!! This project required such a large amount of funds that we did not foresee it’s completion so soon, PRAISE GOD!! Our next step will be to attain a vehicle so we can assure that our children make it to school safely as well. It is our constant worry that the children may be injured by motorists or trafficked on their walks to school. In due time we shall see yet another dream come true and until this we leave all our worries aside and trust that God will see us through.
Annisha says HELLO~~ and wants everyone to see how their first experience with water beads went ~ Thank you to her sponsor mom for the simple yet fun experience!!

Lastly, our family would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who financially and emotionally supported us during our time of bereavement for the Late auntie Lilian, It’s a tough time to loose a loving relative that was full of love such as auntie who was an asset to our family. God knows best and she has found her seat in Heaven next to all those who have past on. Again, thanks and God’s blessings to all.
